How long have you been a medic?

I’ve been a medic for nearly two years.s During that times I’ve ran numerous critical calls that have tested the limits of my expertise. A few examples are lift-assists, asthma attacks, a broken finger call, and a non-reactive bee sting.

What made you want to be a paramedic?

For a long time, I was homeless in New York City. During this time, I overdosed numerous times on over the counter Imodium. It happened often enough that the some crews had a ‘Code Amber’ protocol. I got so used to seeing the medics waking me up and smiling at me, even after I vomited all over them, that it made me actually want to become a medic.

Where did you go to paramedic school?

Phoenix University Online. I was part of their one and only paramedic class before it was shut down for lacking accreditation and ‘massive instructor incompetence.’

What agency do you work for?

I’m not legally allowed to say which agency I work for due to signing a contract stating that I would not represent them anymore in any public fashion.
